TATA.ev, India’s largest four-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturer and a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has officially entered the Mauritian market in partnership with Allied Motors. The launch introduces a diverse range of electric vehicles, including the Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and Nexon.ev, offering cutting-edge technology, superior safety, and eco-friendly mobility solutions.

A strategic expansion into Mauritius

The expansion marks TATA.ev’s first international venture beyond the SAARC region, driven by Mauritius’ growing commitment to sustainable transportation. TATA.ev’s portfolio in Mauritius includes:

  • Tiago.ev – Designed for effortless urban mobility, this compact EV features multi-mode regenerative braking, City & Sport drive modes, and a 24kWh battery, delivering a real-world range of 190-210 km. Premium features such as a 10.25” touchscreen infotainment system, automatic LED headlamps, and cruise control make it a compelling choice. It supports DC fast charging, reaching 80% charge in just 58 minutes.
  • Punch.ev – A bold and feature-rich compact SUV with a 35kWh battery, 90kW motor, and a range of 270-290 km. The interior boasts a 26.03 cm HD infotainment system by HARMAN, wireless Android Auto™ & Apple CarPlay™, and leatherette upholstery for a premium driving experience. Safety is enhanced with an auto-dimming IRVM and advanced driver-assist features.
  • Nexon.ev – A segment-leading electric SUV with a 45kWh battery, 106kW motor, and a real-world range of 350-375 km. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds and offers a 360° surround-view camera, JBL audio system, voice-assisted sunroof, and fast charging (10% to 80% in 40 minutes).

All models come with a manufacturer’s warranty of 8 years or 160,000 km on the battery and motor, and 7 years or 150,000 km on the vehicle. Additionally, customers will receive a free 7.2 kW Home Charging Wall Box & Cable for convenient at-home charging.
