Chant qui à tout moment
Me fascine et m’enivre
Sur tes ailes je vole chaque jour
Vers mon île paradisiaque.
Chant qu’aucun être
Ne se lasserait d’écouter.
ô cocorico du coq
De ma concierge parisienne !
Etudiant à Paris
Il y a des décennies
Le chant matinal d’un oiseau de basse-cour
Du XVIe arrondissement
Etait pour moi une source de plaisir.
Mais qui aurait cru
Qu’il pouvait être aujourd’hui
L’objet d’une bataille juridique?
Je viens d’apprendre à la télé
Qu’à l’île d’Oléron en France,
Un groupe de villageois
Ont intenté un procès à un coq
Pour les avoir privé de sommeil.
