My cheque will therefore total Rs. 155.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The reason for this excessive bill is that our house supply comes directly from a 12\u201d or bigger main pipe descending from the reservoirs near Camp Cavall, and going down along the road outside our house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This pipe empties during the day, when the water is turned off, and then refills early next morning, and is consequently full of a very large volume of air. This air causes my water meter to run at high speed, hence the high amount claimed on the bill.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have an air-valve installed before the meter, but the air flow is so excessive that it cannot handle the great volume of air coming from the main supply pipe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>This is the problem of the CWA, so you should arrange for it to be dealt with ASAP please.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I repeat: I AM NOT PAYING FOR AIR. Vayid<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dans l\u2019entretien de l\u2019invit\u00e9 du <em>Mauritius Times<\/em> du 30 d\u00e9cembre 2010, Monsieur Vayid d\u00e9clare en termes tr\u00e8s cat\u00e9goriques que les ingr\u00e9dients pour une prochaine conflagration sociale sont bien r\u00e9unis et visibles, similaire au sc\u00e9nario de f\u00e9vrier 99. Il brosse un tableau sombre et n\u00e9gatif de la situation sociopolitique et \u00e9conomique du pays. A lui seul d\u2019assumer la gravit\u00e9 de ses propos, car il faut lui demander s\u2019il existe une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 sans probl\u00e8mes, sans divisions sociales ailleurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Monsieur Vayid est un intellectuel de haut calibre, ancien pr\u00e9sident du BAT, de la MEF et actuellement il pr\u00e9side les destin\u00e9es du NESC, mais il n\u2019a point d\u2019exp\u00e9rience du terrain. Nos leaders politiques, sociaux et religieux labourent le terrain social et savent mieux que quiconque les besoins et les aspirations de cette masse de gens de la classe ouvri\u00e8re et moyenne.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Et ce gouvernement du Dr N. Ramgoolam fait de son mieux pour pourvoir des am\u00e9nit\u00e9s sociales et infrastructurelles d\u00e9centes \u00e0 tous. La protection sociale est \u00e0 son apog\u00e9e et Maurice est le champion de toute l\u2019Afrique pour sa politique et strat\u00e9gie de bien-\u00eatre social et \u00e9conomique d\u2019apr\u00e8s les indications de Mo Ibrahim 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">L\u2019ICAC est d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 pied d\u2019\u0153uvre pour combattre la corruption \u00e0 tous les niveaux et les signaux sont tr\u00e8s forts quand il s\u2019agit des exemples qui viennent d\u2019en haut. Plusieurs responsables des institutions gouvernementales ont fait les frais de cette lutte contre la mauvaise administration. La bataille continue toujours et s\u2019av\u00e8re tr\u00e8s f\u00e9roce.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Monsieur Vayid parle des institutions gouvernementales et des corps para\u00e9tatiques dirig\u00e9s par des repr\u00e9sentants d\u2019un seul groupe ethnique, mais r\u00e9alise-t-il que ce groupe ethnique sp\u00e9cifique est majoritaire dans le pays et leurs perspectives ne se trouvent que dans le service civil.
