S. Sukon, Minister of Tertiary Education, Science and Research, and Ms Irada Zeynalova, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Mauritius.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This initiative is a core part of the ongoing collaboration between RGSC and the Russian Embassy, designed to significantly enhance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning in Mauritius. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening youth participation in science and technology and promoting advanced digital literacy, which is fully aligned with the country&#8217;s national development priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The &#8220;Days for Robotics and Innovative Educational Technologies&#8221; offers a rich and diverse schedule tailored to inspire the next generation of innovators, featuring:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Interactive Career-Discovery Quiz \u2013 &#8220;Return of the Tesseract&#8221;, designed to help students explore promising career pathways in IT, game development, and emerging digital fields.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Master Classes in Robotics and Immersive Technologies, comprising three parallel, hands-on workshops, giving participants direct experience with cutting-edge tools aimed at &#8211; Developing a Game in Virtual Reality; VR Master Class: Interactive Geometric Modelling; Assembling a Lunar Rover Robotics Kit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Full-Day Exhibition on Scientific and Technical Creativity, to showcase a range of technological advancements, including robotics platforms, VR educational environments, and innovative demonstrations from both Russian and Mauritian teams.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These activities are expected to engage more than 300 students and educators, providing them with a platform to interact with cutting-edge technologies and discover opportunities for further studies and careers in fields like robotics, mechatronics, and digital design.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Advancing the National STEM Agenda<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The entire initiative strongly supports the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Research\u2019s vision to transform Mauritius into a Knowledge Hub and to empower young people with the essential skills for the digital economy. Secondary and tertiary institutions were invited to register students and educators for the various sessions.
