Musings<\/span><\/p>\n

When Algea\u2019s stranglehold suffocates,<\/span>
\nAnd the Dragon\u2019s forked tongue lashes out,<\/span>
\nIn the dark shadows of Tenebrae\u2019s realm;<\/span>
\nWhen every effort of an-Algea has failed<\/span>
\nTo soothe the thousand pulsating wounds<\/span>
\nOf this terrible existence called Life,<\/span>
\nDissipating all joy and happiness,<\/span>
\nThen what do Man do, oh Gods!<\/span>
\nWhen a thousand prayers are ignored,<\/span>
\nWhen any plea for respite goes unheeded;<\/span>
\nAnd Erebus from inside mother\u2019s womb<\/span>
\nBanishes all hope from Eos day-break;<\/span>
\nAnd Hemera\u2019s life-giving light vanishes<\/span>
\nFrom Zeus immense universe,<\/span>
\nThen what is left for Man?<\/span><\/p>\n

From Pantheon to simple Humanity,<\/span>
\nEos and Tithonus for an eternal life meet.<\/span>
\nBut little does poor He suspect of the agonies<\/span>
\nTo follow in Life\u2019s eternal continuum<\/span>
\nThat is meant only for Gods and Goddesses! <\/span>
\nOld creaky bones, arthritic joints,<\/span>
\nLeaky urethras, terrible Indignities!<\/span><\/p>\n

The piercing, razor sharp pain <\/span>
\nPushes me downhill to roll in searing agony–<\/span>
\nShrieking, laughing, crying, cursing, blessing!<\/span>
\nBut to share it with anyone would be cruel, alas!<\/span>
\nYet I have spoken to Hemera’s day,<\/span>
\nI have reasoned with the dark Erebus;<\/span>
\nAnd have heard their counsel loud and clear:<\/span>
\nPain, like Death, is to be savoured alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus sat alone at the festal table of Life.<\/span>
\nI am obliged to gorge myself stupid.<\/span>
\nWith pain, I have to stuff my belly <\/span>
\nTill no more is no more, <\/span>
\nAnd my soul explodes with consumption.<\/span>
\nHelp, Ye bloody Gods!<\/span><\/p>\n
