Christmas is more than a day in December<\/span><\/h4>\n

It is all those things we love to remember<\/span><\/h4>\n

It is a special time for families as they plan parties and get together<\/span><\/h4>\n

This year things will be different<\/span><\/h4>\n

Hugs and kisses replaced by zoom and phone calls<\/span><\/h4>\n

No bells ringing or Christmas carols singing<\/span><\/h4>\n

Mesmerising varieties of decorations will go unnoticed<\/span><\/h4>\n

From wreaths to bows, tinsels and stockings<\/span><\/h4>\n

No crowds to admire festive lights and decorations<\/span><\/h4>\n

Festivities suspended due to Covid restrictions<\/span><\/h4>\n

Restrictions impacting upon our daily lives<\/span><\/h4>\n

With measuring social distance as a rule<\/span><\/h4>\n

We live in fear of hugging and sitting next to each other<\/span><\/h4>\n

It\u2019s a virus of uncertainty and fear<\/span><\/h4>\n

Reading \u2018It was the night before Christmas-<\/span><\/h4>\n

A visit from St Nicholas\u2019<\/span><\/h4>\n

Parents will tell kids forget the cookies<\/span><\/h4>\n

Leave Santa a mask and sanitiser instead<\/span><\/h4>\n

And what about the reindeer they said<\/span><\/h4>\n

But let us not forget<\/span><\/h4>\n

It\u2019s the season to be jolly<\/span><\/h4>\n

Don\u2019t be gloomy<\/span><\/h4>\n

It\u2019s the season for warmth, laughter and good cheer<\/span><\/h4>\n

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas<\/span><\/h4>\n

And Happy New Year<\/span><\/h4>\n
