Respected, admired, saluted this man<\/span><\/p>\n

Who dared ask, make us independent<\/span><\/p>\n

Very soon a prominent national figure<\/span><\/p>\n

Social justice, he proclaimed ever after<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSir Seewoosagur\u201d, the title well suited him<\/span><\/p>\n

Life went on, struggling, coaxing, respecting.<\/span><\/p>\n

European civilisation joined hands<\/span><\/p>\n

With values and feelings Indian<\/span><\/p>\n

Which made this leader of the oppressed<\/span><\/p>\n

Among many gentlemen, the best.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gandhi\u2019s famous non-violence<\/span><\/p>\n

Luther King\u2019s appropriate tolerance<\/span><\/p>\n

J.F. Kennedy\u2019s vision and foresight<\/span><\/p>\n

Nehru\u2019s fights for equal rights<\/span><\/p>\n

All eventually mixed together<\/span><\/p>\n

To perfectly mould our First Prime Minister.<\/span><\/p>\n
