The current debate on energy issues, most particularly the CT Power issue, makes clear that some people, particularly some of the so-called civil society/NGO people have since the very outset tried to derail this project supposedly in the name of environmental protection, climate change, health related issues, etc. Right-thinking people, particularly those conversant with environmental and climate change issues are fully aware that many who have participated in this debate have a hidden agenda.

It would appear that some of the so-called civil society/NGO “experts” have been successful in driving their agenda at the level of the NEC is a “layman” on environment, climate and most importantly energy issues. We all know that nowhere else in the world such is the case.
