Things of Beauty<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Of Twilit Skies<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Starry skies strewn with fleeting comets,<\/span><\/p>\n

Lo the star spangled veil of velvet,<\/span><\/p>\n

Encrusted gems that gods had set,<\/span><\/p>\n

Silent sentinels of heavens beyond,<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspiring one and all, old and young. <\/span><\/p>\n

Of the Lonesome Star<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lonesome star, what vistas doth thou behold,<\/span><\/p>\n

What legends doth thou know as yet untold,<\/span><\/p>\n

What knowledge stirs thy soul to set thee aglow,<\/span><\/p>\n

Couldn\u2019t God grant thee speech so Mankind might know?

\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Of Clouds<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

They float high in the atmosphere\u2019s thin air,<\/span><\/p>\n

Meandering ceaselessly in their heavenly lair,<\/span><\/p>\n

On their eternal journey they peacefully fare,<\/span><\/p>\n

Endlessly basking in the sun\u2019s terrible glare.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of Mountains<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Those granite behemoths of sullen grey,<\/span><\/p>\n

Dappled with copses of such verdant green,<\/span><\/p>\n

Daunting at night, in their own terrible way,<\/span><\/p>\n

Ablaze in the day, with a blinding sheen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of Rapids<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Through dale and ravine the rapids roar,<\/span><\/p>\n

Breaching hull and shattering oar,<\/span><\/p>\n

Through cleft and hollow, twist and turn,<\/span><\/p>\n

Through crevice and crack the waters churn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of the Ocean<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Upon hell\u2019s roof the behemoth lies,<\/span><\/p>\n

From tide to tide the heaving beast sighs,<\/span><\/p>\n

Across trench and peak it hefts its weight,<\/span><\/p>\n

The roiling beast rages and wails,<\/span><\/p>\n

Mourning souls it stole through gust and gale.

\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Of Glaciers<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On they float those bastions of ice,<\/span><\/p>\n

Forlorn in nostalgic reminiscence,<\/span><\/p>\n

Of times when they were no mere slice<\/span><\/p>\n

Of icy Titan struck by senescence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of Dreams<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Of what ethereal fabric art thou made,<\/span><\/p>\n

That upon heart and soul thy shadow lies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Into the deepest darkness they do fade,<\/span><\/p>\n

At the tender caress of the morning\u2019s rays.<\/span><\/p>\n
