In fact, he set foot in <em>Mauritius <\/em>for the first time back in 1999 and has been a regular visitor every year since. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Verdana; color: #000000;\">Swamiji has visited over forty countries of the world during the past twenty five years. He found that there is a great difference between these countries where Indian diaspora have made their home. In fact, hard work, perseverance, education and economic progress and political consciousness have changed their lives and outlook for a better future. Yet they have never been at rest. Their soul has remained deeply rooted in their culture and their religion has not worn out, keeping ancestral rituals and practices alive in everyday life. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Verdana; color: #000000;\">Swamiji\u2018s mission around the world, including Mauritius, is to propagate the sacred principles of Divinity amongst mankind, strengthen spirituality, bodily health through yoga and meditation for a peaceful mind, uplifting of a cultured society, where drugs abuse, social evils, hatredness or indifference to the needy, be eliminated. His vision is to see humanity beyond barriers with love and compassion, where discipline, understanding and brotherhood will prevail. This is the special universal message preached by Swamiji. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Verdana; color: #000000;\">A great international event is to take place in Mauritius this year. A Peace Procession will leave the Municipality of Port Louis to proceed to the Aapravasi Ghat on 2 June 2012 and on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> over 200 delegates from India and other countries with Indian Diaspora are coming to Mauritius to attend a grand prayer, \u201cMahayaj\u201d, with prayers for peace and harmony, using 108 \u2018Hawan Koonds\u2019 at Ganga Talao. More than 2000 people will participate in the ceremony. Conferences will be held during four days at the Grand Bay International Conference Hall. Deliberations will continue for another three more days at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. The \u201cShaswatam Foundation\u201d aims at boosting spiritual awakening, social responsibility of each and every individual in his own life and towards others, finally giving service to mankind in general . This foundation has already been registered in Mauritius by Mahamandleswar H.H. J\u2019ai eu l\u2019honneur de c\u00f4toyer le regrett\u00e9 Dr Teelock pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es alors que nous \u00e9tions les responsables des \u00e9quipes de football, \u00e9voluant en premi\u00e8re division \u00e0 la d\u00e9funte MSA, devenue par la suite la MFA. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Verdana; color: #000000;\">Lui \u00e9tait un des fid\u00e8les administrateurs de la vaillante \u00e9quipe des <strong><em>Hindu Cadets<\/em><\/strong>; moi, je faisais partie des officiels de l\u2019\u00e9quipe des <strong><em>Muslim Scouts<\/em><\/strong>. Lui, parmi les Ram Ruhee, Man Rambocus, S. Suntah, les fr\u00e8res Manrakhan, les Chundunsingh et autres. Moi, travaillant tant\u00f4t comme secr\u00e9taire, tant\u00f4t comme tr\u00e9sorier, tant\u00f4t comme membre du comit\u00e9 de direction des <strong><em>Rouges<\/em><\/strong> aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Monaf Fakira, Rashid Sulleman, Issoup Hatteea, Gora Amide, Dada Mullack, et autres Dr Osman, Dr Mustun et surtout l\u2019inimitable et l\u2019unique entra\u00eeneur, le d\u00e9funt Mamade Elahee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Verdana; color: #000000;\">C\u2019\u00e9tait la grande \u00e9poque du football mauricien quand un match <strong><em>Scouts<\/em><\/strong> v\/s <strong><em>Cadets<\/em><\/strong> attirait la grande foule &#8211; un match qui se jouait avec un esprit sportif rempli de vraie camaraderie tant sur le terrain velout\u00e9 du Stade Georges V que dans les vestiaires. Je me rappelle de ce match d\u00e9cisif des <strong><em>Scouts<\/em><\/strong> pour enlever le titre de champion.
