Pendant deux longues années
Il manquait une inscription sur ta tombe
Au cimetière Nam Shun.
Pour cette faute Thérèse
J’implore ton pardon.
Grâce à l’épitaphe
Que je viens de faire graver
Sur une tablette de marbre,
Le lieu où tu reposes
A pris une nouvelle apparence.
A présent tout souriant
Est l’aspect du caveau
Ceinturé d’arbrisseaux
Car la blancheur du marbre
Reflète l’éclat de la sépulture.
